Pauses GPS, Bluetooth and feeds when unplugged. Power or a CarPlay connection resumes operation.
Standby after five minutes without CarPlay. Wired and wireless connections use the same rule. Unplugging the phone alone does not choose this mode.
Choose one: Off, Radar detector, ALP or TMG, CarPlay, Standalone, or Unplugged. This controls when GPS, feeds and other work pause; it is separate from Performance.
Normal keeps full phone visuals. Cool Driving reduces phone-local visuals. Screen-Off Alerts turns off phone-local visuals when the screen is off. Alerts continue.
Keeps CarPlay maps and overlays coherent when heat management trims phone visuals.
Balanced eases map work when full detail is unnecessary; Best Quality favors smoothness; Battery Saver reduces visual work. Detector processing, alert audio, muting and lockouts remain active. Heat protection still applies.
Further limits map and animation load. Detection, GPS, and navigation are unchanged.
When available, temporarily uses Best Quality while charging and the phone stays cool. Thermal protection still wins.
